Teaching Posts at an International School, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our Client is a well established International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Management of the school is in the hands of well experienced ex-pat staff, the teaching staff is highly multicultural and drawn from all over the world. The learners are both expat children and Saudi children. The school writes Cambridge GCSE and A Level.

The Principal and Deputy Principal are seeking to interview South African teachers who would like to take up posts at the school in August 2018. They will hold interviews during February in Johannesburg (10-12 Feb), Durban (14-16 Feb) and Cape Town (20-22 Feb)

The following vacancies definitely exist, but others may arise before August. So if your specialization is not in the list it is still worth applying for an interview if you are keen on teaching in Saudi

  • Foundation Phase (Class teachers)
  • Intermediate Phase gr 4-6 Class Teachers
  • Special Education Needs teacher
  • High School Chemistry Teacher - must have a BSc with at least Chem 2
  • High School History + Geography - must have a B Degree with History and Geog
  • Computer (CAT) for Primary AND High School;
  • High School Art (B Fine Arts preferred)
  • HOD Modern Languages, with EITHER Arabic or French

Package and Benefits

Salaries start at around US$2500 pm tax free, in addition the school pays medical insurance, annual airfares, furnished accommodation and ground transport to and from school daily. The school prefers teaching couples or teachers who are able to travel singly as there is a tax in Saudi on dependents of teachers who are living in Saudi but not working.
